SAN ANTONIO—SeaWorld in San Antonio will open for the season on Saturday, but no decision has been made yet on whether killer whale shows will go on as scheduled after a deadly incident at SeaWorld in Orlando, Fla.

Chris Bellows, the park's vice president of zoological operations, says officials are still deciding whether Shamu shows will be held this weekend.

In Orlando and San Diego, park officials canceled the killer whale shows in the immediate aftermath of a trainer's drowning in Florida.

Veteran trainer Dawn Brancheau was grabbed by a whale named Tilikum after a noontime show Wednesday, dragged under water and drowned.
